Arley Hall – School Decorate a Christmas Tree competition

As part of the Arley Hall Christmas Floral Extravaganza this year, there’ll be a Schools Christmas Tree Decorating Competition.

School are invited to decorate a Christmas tree, provided by Arley Hall, so that it can be on display to visitors during the Christmas week of opening of Saturday 3rd December through to Thursday 8th December.  The trees will be on display in the Cruck Barn and enough power will be provided to run two sets of standard Christmas tree lights.

Arley Hall see this as a schools arts and crafts project with the opportunity for the children to design and create the decorations for their tree in school as part of their curriculum or arts club.  The trees will be judged on Saturday 3rd December at 12noon by Stockley Farm Park – who are sponsoring the competition again this year.

The lucky winning school will be able to visit the farm with their whole class (30 children and 5 adults) for a FREE tailor-made educational visit during 2016! (T’s and C’s apply).

Treesneed to be decorated on Friday 2nd December.

The Arley Christmas Floral Extravaganza normally attracts up to 2000 visitors when the hall is magnificently decorated by local florists and colleges in a traditional country house style.
