Tangomotion transports audience to Buenos Aires

From virtuoso displays of traditional tango dance in stunning costumes to the exquisite sounds of 1930s and 40s Buenos Aires and the powerful Nuevo Tango music of Astor Piazzolla, Tangomotion is a breathtaking journey into the heart of Tango Argentino.

Tangomotion features new choreographies created for the 2018 tour by world class tango dancers Alexandra Wood, Guillermo Torrens, Paula Duarte and Richard Manuel, with new original music and evergreen tango classics from the acclaimed Tango Siempre quartet.

Tango Siempre are one of the UK’s leading tango companies, they have been touring the UK and Europe since 1998. They produce a range of projects from traditional tango shows to collaborations with contemporary dance companies and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians. Tango Siempre also created the musical score for the Olivier-nominated Midnight Tango which starred Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace from Strictly Come Dancing.

The Tangomotion dancers and musicians are also no stranger to the limelight and have previously appeared in the hit West End Show Midnight Tango, BBC Strictly Come Dancing, The One Show, Zingzillas, ITV Surprise Surprise, Radio 3 In Tune and at the Classic Brit Awards. This intense tango show is one to remember.
