The Business Marketing Club expands into the North West

First event on the power of brand in B2B takes place in Manchester on 22nd March

22 February 2018: The Business Marketing Club (BMC) announces the launch of its newest regional chapter covering the North West, to support the region’s growing B2B marketing community. The launch of BMC NW will bring a new, dedicated and lively knowledge sharing and networking group to the region, for marketers who are passionate about moving the industry forward and who want to drive B2B marketing thinking, inspiration and learning.

It follows successes in London, the South West and East Midlands, and extends BMC’s commitment to B2B in-house marketing professionals, agency teams and marketing consultants and it will be showcasing the new regional chapter at Prolific North Live in Manchester, 28 Feb – 1 March, 2018 on stand 136.

BMC NW offers three core elements to its events programme, all aimed at building the profile and professionalism of business marketing. These include thought leadership sessions, designed to share the latest thinking on an emerging topic or discipline with senior B2B professionals, and bitesize workshops providing training on key topics to widen the knowledge of early and mid-career B2B marketers. There will also be a schedule of roundtable events focused on major B2B talking points where expert panels will share their views.

Open to all B2B marketers in the North West, the first event takes place in Manchester on 22nd March and will explore the power of brand investment to drive business growth.

Not only do members have free access to the events programme, they will also benefit from access to an exclusive UK-wide knowledge ‘hub’ and be able to get involved in a mentor programme which will be rolling out from 1 May. This will give early to mid-career members access to senior marketers in leading B2B businesses and agencies across the region, driving career progression to develop the next generation of B2B marketers.

Jason Neale, MD of the BMC comments, “With a fast-expanding membership base throughout the UK, the BMC has already experienced enormous success in the London, East Midlands and South West regions and a NW regional group was a natural progression for us. The NW B2B marketing and creative scene is extremely buoyant and it’s important that the specific developments within the B2B space are represented.”

Max Clark, North West Chair, national BMC board member and Co-founder at b2b agency Upp B2B said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to see the BMC get off the ground in the North West. I’ve wanted to be involved in launching a dedicated network for B2B focused professionals for some time and the BMC provides the ready-framework for this. There’s a great deal of talent and expertise on our doorstep here in the North West, and to be able to tap into this and share knowledge with likeminded B2B professionals is truly exciting. We hope to quickly build a solid core membership base and to get more people involved in the initiative throughout the region.”
