Welcome to East Cheshire Hospice news

Our 30th anniversary year has been a fantastic one so far – thanks so much to everyone who has supported us already! Here’s some information on what’s coming up.

Sunflower Spectacular

As part of our anniversary celebrations we are organising special displays of our handmade ceramic sunflowers in town and village centres across the region. This will take place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th September and we’ll have street collections in each area too.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us set up the displays and take part in street collections over these two days – if you can spare a couple of hours in your local area it would be greatly appreciated! Please visit our website HERE to find out more.

In the meantime, if you would like to support the Hospice by buying one of our beautiful and unique sunflowers to keep, please click HERE.

Back to the 80s

As part of Gawsworth Hall’s outdoor theatre, we’re hosting a brilliant night of live music in celebration of our 30th. We’re lucky enough to have one of the UK’s best 80s tribute bands, Wild Boys, playing for us. And you can even bring along a picnic to enjoy in the beautiful grounds of the hall before the show. Why not come along and join us? Find out more HERE

Tough Woofer

Our very first doggie event is taking place on Sunday 30th September at Capesthorne Hall. Tough Woofer is a fun 5K obstacle course which you and your dog can enjoy together! With plenty of stalls selling pet gifts and food, this looks set to be a dog lover’s dream day. Find out more and book your place HERE.

If you’re available to come along and help out at Tough Woofer, we’re looking for a range of different volunteers to help make the event a success. Please email our events team on events@echospice.org.uk to find out more.

For more information about anything mentioned in this email, please contact the fundraising team on 01625 433477 or email fundraising@echospice.org.uk. We hope to see you at an event very soon!
