Appeal for information on fatal collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a car and a cyclist at the junction of the Silk Road and Brook Street, Macclesfield.

Police were called to the collision at 8.13 am on Tuesday 29 January following the collision of a 13-year-old boy riding a bicycle with a silver Dodge Caliber. Sadly the cyclist died later in hospital. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
