Appeal for information on stolen bikes

Police are appealing for information for the public after three cycles were stolen in Macclesfield

The three bikes, belonging to a group of teenagers, were stolen from Sutton Woods, off Byron’s Lane.

One of the bikes has since been recovered, but the two pictured remain outstanding.

The missing bikes are :

• A Charcoal grey Calibre Sentry mountain bike 

• A blue and red framed 540st Roadrider mountain bike with grey pedals 

Police Constable Mark Stringer from Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, said: “Enquiries in relation to this theft are ongoing and we are keen to hear from anyone with any information which may aid our investigation.

“We also want to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen any of the bikes since they were stolen, or know where the bikes are.

“I’d ask anyone with any information in relation to the theft, or the whereabouts of the bikes, to contact the team here at Macclesfield on 101, quoting IML 959950.”
