After the easing of Covid-19 restrictions on the 19th July, it’s perfect timing for The 2021 Royal Cheshire County Show which is back with a bang on Saturday 31st July.
Organised events now being able to take place is welcome news indeed for the Cheshire Agricultural Society who have organised another fantastic show for the local community to enjoy.
Last year saw the cancellation of the Cheshire Show as we know it as the event went virtual. Now, after a year away from the showground, the Cheshire public is set to reunite for a much-anticipated day out in the countryside and there’s a whole host of things to look forward to.
With the majority of attractions being out in the open air, guest safety continues to remain a priority, so there will be plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers situated around the showground.
With a programme as packed as ever, whether you’re a foodie, an adrenaline junkie, animal obsessed or a self- confessed shopaholic, there is an attraction (or ten) for you!
There are appearances from celebrity chefs, Paul Hannam’s quad bike stunt show and various animal competition classes to enjoy including Heavy Horses, Dairy Goats and Jacob Sheep.
Plus, plenty of local businesses will be there with their fine products and services for you to sample and try!
If you’re a music maestro, you’re in for a treat as the brilliant Roberts Bakery band will be taking centre stage at the main ring from 6pm-8pm. The Sandbach-based Band has recently celebrated its 40-year partnership with Cheshire Show principle partners, Roberts Bakery, and have become Show favourites over the years.
After many months without being able to enjoy live music, it’s going to be a welcome return for many and a fantastic end to what is sure to be a great day out.
Show Director, Rob Davenport, said, “The Royal Cheshire County Show is now in its 181st year and I think it’s fair to say that this year in particular the great Cheshire public will be looking forward to a fantastic show and a great family day out. We’ve got some wonderful attractions lined up along with a few surprises. We can’t wait to welcome everyone through the gates on July 31st!”
