Day 2 of the Royal County Cheshire Show

Despite the iffy weather forecast the sun came out and shone and shone again – and the crowds rolled in for the second day.

If a picture is worth a thousand words these images of day two should save our writers some blood, sweat and tears . . .

Many rare breeds of sheep made an appearance on day two.
No, not a lama, it’s an alpaca
The pygmy goat handlers seem to get younger and younger each year
The majestic shire horses attracted lots of attention
It’s a peregrine falcon
Barn owls featured in the show
The pigeon show
Amazing what can be done with a few pieces of wood
Guessing this Jeep Rubicon could go anywhere you point it
The Rock Choir entertained the crowds
The lorry and car leap from the Paul Hannam Quad Bike Stunt Show had everyone holding their breath
This year Cheshire Show – maybe one day felling trees in Macclesfield Forest?
From the tiniest . . .
. . . to some of the largest!

Keep checking the website and put next year’s Royal Cheshire County Show in your diary – it’s going to be a cracker!
