Bosley Tug of War Club will be hosting its annual open tug of war competition, this weekend, at Glebe Farm, Astbury, on Sunday 2 April 2023.
The event is part of the Tug of War Association’s National League and promises to be a day of exciting competition for participants and spectators alike.
The competition will feature competitions for men’s, ladies’, mixed, and young farmers’ teams. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their strength, skill, and teamwork in this thrilling sport that has been enjoyed for generations.
In addition to the tug of war competitions, there will be a range of activities available at Glebe Farm. Visitors can explore the farm shop, browse the shops and studios, enjoy tractor rides, and even feed the animals. This makes the event perfect for families and individuals looking for a fun and unique day out.
The competitions will kick off at 11am and run throughout the day, ensuring there is plenty of excitement for everyone to enjoy. Entry to the event is free for spectators, so it’s an opportunity not to be missed.
