Halifax scam

Their sole aim is to part you from your hard-earned funds so keep your wits about you.

This scammer purports to be from Halifax, but scrolling over the sender revealed it be from “jeanbasham@btinternet.com”

The other giveaway is that emails from Halifax always contain just a last name and part of the recipients postcode

If you have vulnerable members of your family, or friends that could be taken in, tell them to be on their guard – particularly at this time of year.
