A night hike up Mount Snowdon

Staff from East Cheshire NHS Trust’s Community Services are gearing up for an adventurous night under the stars.

The team are will be setting off in May, hiking up Mount Snowdon, and raising vital funds to enhance the care provided to patients across community services.

Donations will enable new specialist equipment, funding activities for patients, training for staff and transforming staff and patient areas.

Elizabeth Chambers, who will be part of the team taking on the hike said: “Our Community Services make sure we can stay in the comfort of our own homes while getting the support we need.

“Donations would make a massive difference to colleagues in the community to enhance the care that we can provide to our patients.

“With your support, we can sprinkle some extra joy into our community and make a real difference.”

Operating across East Cheshire, the Trust’s Community Services include five individual Care Communities that empower everyone to live independently and healthily for as long as possible, right where they want to be.

An array of specialist services also works hand-in-hand with the Care Communities creating a supportive network that keeps the people of East Cheshire feeling at their best.
