East Cheshire Ramblers evening walk

The first of the East Cheshire Ramblers’ evening walks.

A traditional Sutton Reservoir walk led by Jane and Frank – an easy 5 mile walk with approximately 200 feet of ascent. 

Route: Down one side of the reservoir before crossing the canal and walking to Woodhouse Green farm. A short distance along the road, crossing the fields to Newhall farm.

Another short walk along the road before cutting across fields, following quiet tracks, before eventually walking back through Danes Moss Nature Reserve and along the canal. Return via the other side of the reservoir.

A beautiful evening when torches were not needed.

A drink in great company at Sutton Hall provided a very pleasant way to end the evening.
