Cheshire Police, investigating a serious collision in Siddington, are appealing for witnesses and video footage.
On the morning of Wednesday 14 May, at around 7.00 am, police responded to reports of a road traffic collision on the A34 in the Siddington area of Macclesfield.
The collision involved a blue Kia Sportage that had collided with a tree. The driver of the Kia, a 62-year-old man from Holmes Chapel, sustained serious injuries.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to get in touch with them, as well as anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage which captured what happened.
Inspector Steve Griffiths said:
“Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances, and we are now looking for anyone who witnessed what happened or may have dashcam or video doorbell footage of the incident to come forward to help us identify the vehicle involved.
“Anyone with any information or dashcam footage is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website or on 101, quoting IML-2089540.”
