Funding for children’s activities

Cheshire groups and communities can apply for up to £2,000 of funding for children’s activities.

Funding to provide summer holiday activities for young people comes from Dan Price, Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner as he launches his SWAP Summer Support Fund.

The funding is intended to combat boredom and get young people off their smart devices by giving community groups, charities, social enterprise and not-for-profit groups the support to deliver activities to promote their well-being.

Projects will need to be delivered between July – September 2025 and should fulfil one of the following priorities:
Support children and young people
Promote physical and mental well-being
Reduce isolation and promote inclusion

The application window is now open and closes on Friday 20th June 2025 at 5pm.

More information about the SWAP Summer Support Fund and the application form can be found on the Cheshire PCC website.
