Beating the Bounds

Beating the Bounds is a 21 mile walk around the Macclesfield boundaries.

The walk is a community event celebrating tradition while fundraising for local charities.

The full route is approximately 21 miles, following traditional boundary markers around Macclesfield.

A shorter route is available (8 miles).

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re walking solo, with friends, family, or in a team. Alll abilities are encouraged to join. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
