Radiology staff from Macclesfield District General Hospital will be heading for the top in July.
Mt Snowdon, North Wales
Fifteen members of the radiology team will hike up Mount Snowdon, raising funds for improvements to the department’s waiting area, including better/additional changing facilities and seating area.
Melanie Hurst, Cross Sectional Imaging Assistant in the Radiology department, said: “Your generous support will allow us to create a more patient-friendly space, making each visit as comfortable and positive as possible.
“The team is dedicated to making the best of this activity and are hoping to raise as much as possible.
“We are all very excited to be part of the hike and will be completing it in our own time with our patients comfort and wellbeing in mind.”
The Radiology Department is dedicated to providing the highest quality diagnostic imaging and patient care using advanced imaging technologies including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasound.
