Macclesfield Tennis Club Annual Tournament

Macclesfield Tennis Club held their Annual Tournament recently.

Dylan Connolly, 15, was the youngest ever winner of the Men’s singles.

Two juniors also won the Men’s Doubles, Dylan Connolly and Sam Brown.

Jane Ambler won the Ladies’ Singles for a record 20th time, having first won it in 1990.

In the Junior competition Ella Banks won the Girls’ Singles in all three age groups U13,U15,U18 – the first time this has been done.

The most successful player in the Veteran’s age group was John Nixon, who won two of the events and was runner up in a third.
