New Year’s Eve at the Opera House

If your New Year’s Eve plans are still not fixed take a look at Buxton Opera House’s celebration of New Year’s Eve – in the company of The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Returning for a fabulous evening, this is the sure way to see the arrival of the New Year in with style.

The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra has been providing the highest-quality of entertainment for over 23 years. Conducted by Antony Kraus, the Orchestra work with a company of core talent, which have made the artists and shows firm favourites across the country. With their informal style of presentation and high quality performances, this show is a fantastic way to celebrate the beginning of 2018!

This evening presents a veritable magnum of all your favourite music from opera, operetta, Gilbert and Sullivan and more. Mark Langley is also on hand to jolly the party along with witty quips and verse. In an evening interspersed with fizz and champagne, enjoy a range of orchestral classics as we make our way towards midnight. The night will be rounded off with the traditional Auld Lang Syne at midnight.

Making this evening even more memorable is the optional three course meal. Served in the Pavilion Gardens enjoy a delicious dinner followed by coffee and petit fours before the evening begins!
