Two new Macclesfield play areas, representing an investment of £100,000 by Macclesfield Town Council, are set to be opened next month.
The centres will be officially opened by the Mayor of Macclesfield, Cllr Adam Schofield on Wednesday 10th October. High Street centre at 10 am and Hall Grove centre at 2 pm.
Members of the community are invited to attend, along with their children, to explore the new play equipment. Face painting and snack boxes will also be provided.
Helena Gowler, Community Engagement Officer for Macclesfield Town Council said “Macclesfield Town Council is really excited to show the community the new play areas. High Street and Hall Grove are part of what will be an ongoing project to refresh the town’s play areas. We hope that families can enjoy the new equipment, encouraging outdoor play all year round.”
