Local law firm names new associates

Law firm, SAS Daniels LLP, has promoted two Property team members at its Macclesfield office, as it continues to grow the business in 2019. It has also promoted two further Property team members across the North West.

Steven Percy and Victoria Bury, based in the Commercial Property team and Residential Property team respectively, have been promoted to Senior Associate and will take up their new positions with immediate effect.

Steven joined SAS Daniels in 2012 and since then has rapidly progressed. He acts for investors, businesses, landowners and developers on a wide range of commercial property matters including acting on the sale of large estates for development and the refinancing and leasing of office blocks and industrial estates. Outside of work Steven sits on the Board of Trustees for Cheshire-based Everybody Sport and Recreation, a charity running 15 leisure facilities.

Victoria Bury, Senior Associate, Residential Property team

Victoria started at SAS Daniels in 2014 and has 17 years’ experience in residential conveyancing. She is also heavily involved in the firm’s mentoring scheme, helping to continually train team members and trainee solicitors as part of the firm’s focus on learning and development.

James Goddard, Partner at SAS Daniels Chester office

Scott Tams, Partner in Commercial Property team

Meanwhile, James Goddard and Scott Tams have also been promoted to Partner at the firm. James, based at SAS Daniels’ Chester office, has played a significant role in growing the firm’s agricultural law offering and Scott Tams, based in Stockport, is now Partner in the Commercial Property Team.
