Witnesses sought to fatal Congleton collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on Sunday in Congleton.

Following reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian police attended an incident at Sandbach Road, Congleton.

The pedestrian, an 83-year-old man from Congleton, was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital but later died from his injuries.
