The 2020 Macclesfield Mayor’s Charity Ball will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at William Turner Suite Shrigley Hall Hotel, Pott Shrigley, SK10 5SB
The evening will start with a drinks reception, followed by a welcome by the Mayor of Macclesfield, Councllor Janet Jackson, MBE followed by the dinner.
Dinner will offer a starter choice of Chicken & confit duck terrine, apricot compote or Smoked salmon roulade, wasabi creme fraiche or a vegetarian option of Beetroot & honeyed goats cheese cassonade.
The Main course will comprise a choice of: Seared chicken breast in a rich red wine jus or Fillet of seabass, sweet pepper chutney or Lentil cassoulet, beans, roasted cauliflower (vegetarian)
All meals will come with a choice of seasonal vegetables andpotatoes
Dessert course comprises: New York baked cheesecake, summer berry compote or Chocolate profiteroles or Toffee apple crumble tart, English custard.
Finally coffee
An auction and raffle is planned for around 9 pm – with prizes including: a Black Prince narrowboat holiday; an original painting by David Evans; a round of golf for 4 at Shrigley Hall Hotel; a Pinches Medical health assessment; a tour for two at Forest Gin distillery.
Music/entertainment will follow at 10 pm through to the close at 11:59.
