COUNCIL BULLDOZES KIDS BMX TRACK

A BMX track dug out by local BMX enthusiasts has been obliterated by the council. The bikers had constructed the jump ramps, up to 6ft high, behind a copse of trees on Congleton Road playing fields several years ago.

However, Cheshire East council concluded it had become dangerous. They also claim to have evidence of littering, trees being damaged with axes and fires being started – although this may have nothing to do with the BMX
