Live video chat company Vee24 has set its sights on becoming a global leader in the online retail sector as it braces itself for a period of rapid growth.

The Prestbury-based business, whose customers include car manufacturer Toyota and US retail giant Sears, is seeking expansion to exploit current demand for its technology.

By encouraging visitors to company websites to engage in live video chats with salesmen based in mini-broadcast studios, Vee24 claims its web chat product has provided clients with an average 38 per cent increase in sales.
