MACCLESFIELD TOWN 1 BRADFORD 0 – IS IT THE PIES?

Lewis Chalmers converted a controversial second-half penalty to sink Bradford last night at the Moss Rose.

The midfielder swept home from the spot in the 65th minute.

Bradford`s Luke Oliver and Marcel Seip both made clumsy challenges on Ross Draper, who had latched onto Scott Broden`s through-ball.

Chalmers sent keeper Matt Duke the wrong way for his first goal of the season.

The result made it five unbeaten in the league for Macc.

Is it possible that the run of home wins for the Silkmen could be down to a secret ingredient in Brassington`s pies which are now being served up at the Moss?
