MOTORCYCLIST DIES IN A34 COLLISION

A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a tractor in Macclesfield

The incident happened at around 1pm on Sunday on the A34 near Siddington. The bike rider suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

The road was closed for several hours whilst police and other emergency services dealt with the incident.

A Cheshire police spokesman said: “At 1:05pm police received reports of a serious collision between a motorcycle and a tractor on the A34 near Siddington.

Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed for several hours.
