WIGGY COMING TO GAWSWORTH

Olympic hero and Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins is coming to Macclesfield.

The champion cyclist will be pedalling through the south of the town on September 10 as part of the Tour of Britain.

Residents will be able to cheer on Wiggins and fellow Team GB cyclist Mark Cavendish as they pass through Gawsworth, Bosley, Siddington and Chelford.

The race, which involves 100 riders, will then pass through Knutsford and on to Warrington.
