THE CONSULTATION PERIOD IS OVER ISN`T IT?

Despite a stream of denials by Cheshire East Council that they haven`t been `selling` their appalling town centre redevelopment scheme, further evidence emerges that appears to confirm they continue to do just that.

One of our readers (thanks John) has alerted us that the Council are still adding (supportive only?) comments from the public on the planning application website (see http://planning.cheshireeast.gov.uk/applicationdetails.aspx?pr=12/1212M&query=5b8aaab9-3978-459d-84df-9eef14b42f4b).

This is despite the fact that the consultation period ended last month.

Having read quite a few of the comments it`s interesting to note that the majority opposing the scheme appear to object on the basis of the scheme failing to meet current planning guidelines
