HURDSFIELD ELECTION RESULTS

The results of the Macclesfield Hurdsfield Ward by-election on Thursday, April 25 are as follows:

Stephen Broadhead (LD) 239

Steve Carter (Lab) 341

Alastair Crawford Kennedy (Con) 168

John Anthony Knight (Green) 49

David Lonsdale (UKIP0 132

The turnout for the by-election was 26.65 per cent and two ballot papers were rejected in total.

Steve Carter, Labour, was duly elected.
