APPEAL FOR WITNESSES TO MILL LANE ROBBERY

Local police appealing for witnesses to a robbery which took place on Mill Lane, Macclesfield.

At 10.26pm on Tuesday 14th May 2013 the 18-year-old victim had stopped his silver Volkswagen Polo in Mill Lane to take a break.

While he was standing outside the car he was approached by two men who threatened him with a knife and demanded his wallet and phone. They took his phone but handed back his wallet.

They then ordered him to get in the car and drive.

He drove along lower Bank Street, then onto Watermill Street, and then Calamine Street. They then went onto Heapy Street and onto Gunco Lane. They then went onto London Road, up to the Moss and onto Mayfield Avenue. Here they ordered him to get out and stole the car. The following day it was found abandoned in Hurdsfield Road.

The first offender is described as white, aged approximately 19-years-old with a chubby face. He was wearing a dark tracksuit style hoodie which was waterproof fabric. He was also wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.

The second man is described as white, approximately 19-years-old, of slim build and taller than the other man. He was wearing a hoodie and a tracksuit.
