DEAD BODY FOUND AFTER CAR FIRE
Police were called to a car fire in a layby outside the Deanswater Hotel on Wilmslow Road at 9.38am on Tuesday 20th August where the body of an adult was found.
Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire, once the fire was out the body of an adult was discovered inside the silver Vauxhall Corsa.
Police have not yet formally identified the body and are currently investigating the circumstances of the death.
