MURDER INVESTIGATION AFTER BODY FOUND IN ROAD

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found lying in the road in Macclesfield.

Police were called to Bullocks Lane, Sutton at 6.43pm on Wednesday 30 October 2013, where a 19-year-old man was being treated by paramedics.

He was taken to hospital but sadly died. His next of kin have been informed.

Detectives are treating the death as a murder and are following a number of lines of inquiry.
