CIGARETTES GO MISSING IN DISLEY

A large amount of cigarettes were stolen during a burglary at a shop in Disley.

Police were called to the Co-op on Market Street at 1.40am on Wednesday 20 November 2013, where a car had been driven into the front of the shop.

Three to four men are believed to have been in the dark coloured car, which was on false registration plates, and the offenders stole a large amount of cigarettes.

The men then left the scene in the car, driving off towards Disley Town Centre.

All the offenders were wearing dark clothing with hoods covering their faces.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 44 of 20 November, or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
