More great news for Macclesfield

Following the loss of key-tenant Debenhams, and the subsequent, and inevitable demise of the deplorable Wilson Bowden Town Centre redevelopment scheme, we have some more great news.

As we reported a few weeks ago, national clothes retailers White Stuff are confirmed to be moving into the empty Toymaster premises on Mill Street in July – and are currently recruiting staff.

In addition, ilovemacc’s local sources have just informed us that four more businesses are now in negotiations to come into our town – at least two of them household names.

This is tremendous news for Macclesfield and should prove to the doubters that the loss of the towns redevelopment scheme has created a much-welcomed catalyst for the organic regeneration of Macclesfield’s town centre.
