Rogue gardeners in Macclesfield – police appeal for information

Police are appealing for information following an incident of rogue gardeners in Macclesfield.

On Friday 4 September, at approximately midday two unknown men went to the victim’s home at Bollinbarn Drive, Macclesfield.

After offering their services the two men completed substandard gardening work – but charged the occupant £350. They then drove the female victim to the bank to withdraw the money.

The offenders are described as male wearing dark clothing.

Police are appealing for information for anyone who saw two men acting suspiciously in the area, or received a similar request for work, to contact Cheshire Police on 11 quoting incident number 649 of 4 September.
