Macc Art Lounge

Macclesfield art lovers have another opportunity to view a variety of sensational artworks – the work of some extremely talented local artists – thanks to the Grosvenor Centre and East St Arts.

Following an enthusiastically received inaugural exhibition at the Macc Art Lounge during October, the newly opened exhibition of paintings, photography and sculpture (situated in the old Argos shop on the Castle Street mall) will run right through to Christmas.

Artists including John Eastwood, Ché Finch, Louise Jannetta, Mark Sheeky, Pauline Parsons, Gordon M. Scott, Sabine Kussmaul, Carl Longmate, Bruce Lyons, Sandra Orme and Janet Mayled will be on hand each day to discuss their work.

Macc Art Lounge is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm each day – and for the Treacle Market on Sunday 25th November and Sunday 20 December.

The Lounge will be hosting a variety of workshops and events during the Christmas period and the best-selling popular science author Nick Mee will be signing copies of his books ‘Higgs Force’ and ‘Gravity’ in the Macc Art Lounge on 28^th and 29^th November.
