Belshazzar’s Feast Christmas

Folk music’s very own ‘odd couple’ Paul Hutchinson and Paul Sartin will be warming up audiences in Buxton on Tuesday 15th December with a live gig of jolly festive music.

The two Pauls are presenting a brand new show Belshazzar’s Feast Christmas at Pavilion Arts Centre, offering a night of festive frivolity and a large dose of humour.

Borne out of a desire to actually make some money, the pair began their musical careers together in 1995 and quickly stunned audiences with their unique brand of musical entertainment. Paul Sartin is a singer, oboist, violinist and composer who has recorded extensively with BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners Bellowhead and Faustus; while the other Paul just plays accordion. However Hutchinson is a superlative accordion player, well known for his work with Hoover the Dog and Karen Tweed. Paul’s unique style on the old squeezebox complements Paul nicely and together they create a wonderful performance that everyone will enjoy!

Tickets for Belshazzar’s Feast Christmas are £16.50 and discounts are available. To book, call the Box Office on 01298 72190 or visit www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
