Buxton’s Pavilion Arts Centre has the answer

Looking for the ‘feel good February and marvellous March formula’? There’s something to tickle the fancy for all music lovers over the next month, with a host of high-quality gigs to ‘sink a pint’ to.

There will be a rare opportunity to catch three leading musicians from BBC’s much acclaimed Transatlantic Seas Sessions, when master flautist McGoldrick (Lunasa, Capercaillie), Fiddler McCusker (Battlefield Band) and guitarist Doyle combine for a rousing display of Irish music on Friday 19 February.

Turin Breaks will be at the Arts Centre on Monday 22 February with their ace brand of acoustic folk rock. For this concert the duo will revisit many of the songs that brought them mainstream success and show us why the likes of Radiohead, Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams (to name but a few), chose them as the support for their live gigs.
