Poynton bank robbery – two men arrested
Shortly before 5pm on Friday 29th April police received reports of a robbery taking place at a bank in Fountain Place, Poynton.
A number of men entered the bank and threatened staff before fleeing the scene.
Two men have subsequently been arrested in connection with incident and are in custody.
Officers remain in the area and enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 696 of 29th April. Information can also be passed on anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
