Fatality in Bosley/Rushton crash
Police, paramedics and firefighters were despatched to a two vehicle collision in which a woman is understood to have died.
The emergency services attended the scene of the crash on the A523 Leek Road between Bosley and Rushton Spencer shortly before 10pm on Saturday night.
The road was closed to traffic for a number of hours following.
Two fire engines were sent from Macclesfield and the police are now investigating the cause of the collision.
