Silkmen sign Hancox
Macclesfield Town have signed former Birmingham City defender Mitch Hancox.
The 22-year-old left-back had been on trial with the Silkmen during pre-season and impressed enough to earn a contract.
Hancox progressed through the Blues youth system and went onto make 40 appearances for the Championship side, and also had a loan spell at Crawley last season.
He is available for the Silkmen’s season opener against Torquay.
