Fruits of the Forage

A glorious summer evening provided the perfect backdrop for the first pop-up Wild Food Supper Club hosted by local foraging company, Fruits of the Forage.
Both tables wideshot
Thirty guests enjoyed a menu including Hogweed seed cured Mackerel, Ground Elder Tabbouleh, Mugwort dauphinoise potatoes and Wild Berry Eton mess.
Based in Bollington, this family-run business is just two years old but has already won a clutch of awards for its foraged jams and chutneys, including five Great Taste Awards for homemade preserves such as Dam Sloe Jam and Hogweed Curry Chutney.
Thorneycroft brothers Frederick, 24, and Bertie, 26, also run foraging cookery courses at Ingersley Vale community garden, where many of their ingredients are grown.
