Appeal following Congleton street robbery

Police in Congleton are appealing for information following a street robbery in the town.

At around 10.20 pm on 9 December 2017 a 49-year-old man was walking along Spragg Street when he was approached by another man who demanded money and threatened him.

The victim handed over a £10 note from his pocket and the offender ran off in the direction of Bromley Road.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat and a black knitted scarf to hide his face. He had on a black bomber jacket and black trainers with thick white soles.
