Macclesfield Lit and Phil new season
Macclesfield Literary and Philosophical Society’s programme for 2018-2019 kicks off on Thursday 13 September when travel writer, Nick Hunt, will talk about his recent book, “Where the Wild Winds Are: Walking Europe’s Winds from the Pennines to Provence”.
Given Jan Morris’s review of the book as “Travel writing in excelsis”, Nick’s talk should make for a splendid start to
the season.
All meetings start at 7.30 pm and are held in Macclesfield Library – side entrance on Brunswick Street.
