It’s a great time to visit Dunham Massey

Champions of the natural world – from the 19th century to the present day – are currently being celebrated in an exhibition at Dunham Massey.

Faces of Change: Nature’s Champions is a partnership between the National Trust and the National Portrait Gallery – drawing on portraits and sculptures from the Gallery’s collection – and focussing on individuals who have transformed the way we perceive, experience and aim to protect the natural world.

One of nature’s greatest champions – Gertrude Jekyll

But once you’ve toured the exhibition and the stunning rooms of Dunham there’s a whole world of nature to be discovered in the gardens and deer park.

Faces of Change: Nature’s Champions

No matter what time of year you visit – there’s always something different to see – and even at this time of year many of Dunham’s plants, shrubs and trees are at their very best.

Nature changes the landscape at Dunham week by week – so if you’ve not seen the park and gardens at this time of year you’re in for a real treat.
