‘Pimmy’s’ family pays tribute

The family of a 58-year-old Alan Pimblott, who died in a collision  on Chester Road on Friday 1 October, have paid tribute to him.

Mr Pimblott, who lived in Macclesfield, was the pedestrian involved in the collision with a Fiat 500 and Volkswagen Polo.

In a tribute, his family said:

“Born and lived in Macclesfield to a large and loving family. Tragically passed away on 1 October. Fondly and lovingly known as ‘Pimmy’.

“Alan joins his dad, Albert, his beloved mum, Gladys, brother, David and sister, Susan, leaving behind his partner, Jill, step daughter, Charlotte, all his brothers and sisters, their partners and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

“’Pimmy’ or ‘our Alan’ loved his pool nights and was an avid Liverpool supporter but what proceeds him is his gentle, loving fun nature and he will be sadly missed by all.

“Funeral will take place on 29 October at Macclesfield Crematorium at 12.15 pm.”
