Macclesfield nursery in North West’s top 20

Parents have rated Busy Bees Macclesfield one of the Top 20 nurseries, out of 1,725 early years settings in the North West.

The top twenty nurseries in North West England have received an award from the day-nursery review site, daynurseries.co.uk, with the award based on the nursery’s reviews from the children’s families and carers.

The nurseries were rated on overall standard, facilities and outside space, learning, resources and equipment and ICT, care, activities, staff, food and nutrition, management, cleanliness, safeguarding as well as value for money.

There are over 14,000 nurseries in the UK, with over 400,000 people working in the childcare sector. Around one million children in the UK attend a nursery.

Amy Salt, Centre Director at Busy Bees Macclesfield, said:

“Myself and all the ladies here at Busy Bees Macclesfield feel extremely honoured to win a 2023 award for being a top 20 recommended day nursery for the 3rd year running.

“To be recommended so highly by our parents past and present makes us all incredibly proud of our centre and what we do.

“I have the best team that I could ever ask for here at Macclesfield and together we work extremely hard to provide outstanding childcare day in, and day out. I have a motto that we make each day fun and exciting for our children; the more fun we make it the more the children are going to want to learn. I instil this in my team who then embed this into their practice by planning and delivering the best educational activities for each and every child.

“I will be forever grateful to each and every one of our parents for allowing my team and me to be a part of their little ones’ lives. It’s never ‘just a job,’ it is our passion caring for children and ensuring that they are given the best start in life.”
