Men sought in connection with assault

Police have released CCTV images of three men they want to speak to in relation to an assault in Macclesfield town centre.

Shortly after 4 am on Sunday 23 July, a woman reported she had been assaulted at an address near Macclesfield town centre area earlier that morning.

As part of enquiries, police have released CCTV images of three men they are looking to speak to.

Detective Sergeant Claire Miles said:

“Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and as part of our investigation, we are keen to speak to the men in the CCTV images as we believe they may hold important information.

“Anyone who recognises the individuals is urged to contact us. I would also like to appeal directly to those in the CCTV images to get in touch.
