Nature Needs You returns to West Park

It’s back! As the weather gets colder, it’s time to get our wellies and coats on and enjoy the great outdoors.

On the 7th October, come and join in the Town Council’s Nature Needs You event in West Park between 11 am-3 pm.

With free parking at Whalley Hayes car park (SK10 1BS) which is the closest public car park, the event promises to be a good one.

The ever popular Storytelling tent, where Mayor of Macclesfield Cllr Chris Wilcock will make a special appearance,  a collection of oversized creepy crawlies, our friends at Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers will be there on the day to talk about what they do and will have some crafts for you to have a go at, you can toast marshmallows, have a go at archery, check out the birds of prey, get your face painted or make seed bombs with Cheshire Wildlife Trust, plus more!

And the best bit is, it doesn’t matter if it’s raining.  There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing choices, so get the kids to put on their boots and coats, and come and have some fun.
