Amtri Veritas – 30 years in Macclesfield

As part of Amtri Veritas 30th anniversary celebrations, local MP, David Rutley visited the Macclesfield based business.

There David met with Ms Eline Beun, Managing Director, and other members of the senior management team and saw first-hand the innovative work they have done over this period.

Established in 1994, Amtri Veritas is an approved body for machinery inspections and a certification body for management systems under UKAS accreditation, providing machinery certification services to clients which operate globally.

The business provides a range of training courses, such as compliance with machinery product safety legislation, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and management system standards. Committed to excellence, the company also offers technical support with compliance of machinery, through risk assessments, completing compliance checks and writing instructions.

David heard about the business’ commitment to supporting UK based charity, Tools With A Mission. The charity collects unwanted usable tools, refurbishes them and then sends them to Africa, where they have been used for a variety of much-needed projects, such as two projects in Zambia working to set up a new school in Lusaka and supporting the Disabled Care Organisation in Solwezi.
